TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT
1. Definition:
The product is made exclusively of the edible part of peaches. The
fresh, healthy and ripe fruits are cleaned, peeled and aseptically
filled in bags.
2. Organoleptic properties:
Color: strong gold-yellow
Flavor: typical for peaches, fruity without foreign taste or flavor
3. Physical and chemical characteristics:
Dry matter: 9 ºBrix (±1)
pH: 3,6 ± 0,3
Calibration: 10 x 10 mm
Drained weight: 85 ± 2%
Additives: Citric acid E330, Ascorbic acid E300 (according to the
current legislation of the European Union)
Pesticides: According to the current legislation of the European Union.
Heavy metals: According to the current legislation of the European
Union.
4. Microbiological characteristics:
Product thermally processed to commercial sterility.
The product is free from pathogenic and other spoilage organism.
5. Defects – Tolerances:
Whole stones 0/ 100kg
Part of stone (>3mm) max. 1 piece / 100kg
Splinters (<3mm) 1,5 piece / 10kg
Stems 1 piece / 10kg
Foreign matters 0/ 100kg
6. Packaging
Product is filled into aseptic bags, approx. 200 kilos net. These
are packed into either carton board or conical steel drums. Wooden
pallet 110x110, in good state.
7. Recommended shelf –life
18 months from date of production, provided that the storage of the
product takes place in full coverage warehouse and under temperatures
2°C - 28°C.
